The world has lost a wonderful bassist and a wonderful person today when T.V. On The radio talent Gerard Smith lost his fight with lung cancer. Apparently Gerard Smith was battling lung cancer for a long time now and kept it quiet to not alarm any of his friends or fans but the news leaked out when he had to postpone an upcoming event because he was undergoing treatment for lung cancer.
